Master Director 700 Vickie Maybury is a highly sought-after coach known for helping singers “find their voices” through a highly engaging teaching style. Vickie serves as the Expression Category Specialist, is a Certified Expression Judge, and is Certified International Faculty. Vickie has been the Denver-basedSkyline Chorus’s musical director since 1984. Inspired by her exceptional leadership, Skyline has ranked in the top 10 Sweet Adelines International choruses since 2004 and is the 2018 4th place international medalist.
Vickie’s expansive teaching repertoire includes vocal production, the psychology of performance, understanding how the Expression Category affects performance, the art of expressive singing, singing with freedom, resonance, and ring, along with classes on leadership, effective team development, empowering women, and identifying and supporting emerging leaders.
Vickie’s greatest joy is celebrating the successes of those she is privileged to work with.

|This year's retreat will be held in Houston at the Holiday Inn, Beltway 8 and JFK Blvd., Friday, February 10th & Saturday, February 11th. Mary Ann Wydra will be coaching us. Here's a little about her:
Mary Ann Wydra is Master Director of the Alamo Metro Chorus in San Antonio, TX., where she has been directing since they chartered in l988. They are nine-time Regional Champions and have competed 12 times at International. She's won Regional Quartet Championships in three different voice parts. One of her quartets, the Chrystal-Aires, were 4th and 5th place International Medalists.
Mary Ann was inducted into Region 10's Hall of Fame in 2013. She is a Certified Music Arranger and SAI has published some of her arrangements including The Winner's Song and They Never Told Me, both of which she composed and arranged. She is also a Certified Music Judge and has served on panels in the U.S. and Canada, and overseas in England, Sweden, New Zealand and Australia. She was just one of the Music judges at our recent International Chorus Competition in Las Vegas. A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., she has lived in San Antonio for 28 years and is mother to four grown children and has eight grandchildren.
